I had a wonderful experience at this charming hotel that feels more like a cozy retreat than a typical lodging. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I felt right at home thanks to the personal touch from the hosts. While the rooms are a bit small and dark, the ambiance overall more than makes up for it. The food was delightful, and the stunning views from the lounge were a highlight, making me want to return soon. A point to note is that some bathroom facilities could use updates, but it looks like improvements are in progress.
Staying here was truly a delight. The location is stunning, with serene surroundings that are perfect for relaxation. The food was exceptional, especially the breakfast, which exceeded my expectations. While my room was basic, it was clean and comfortable for a good night's sleep. One downside was that Wi-Fi was a bit inconsistent during busy times, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.
We had a lovely time at Glen Forsa, which served as a great base for exploring Mull. The lodge we stayed in was clean and comfortable, especially appreciated while traveling with our dogs. However, our first day started off with an unsettling moment when we found our door open upon returning. The dining experience was slightly hindered by the price, as it felt a bit steep, although the food was of good quality. Overall, a charming place with some minor issues.
Our stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery that's hard to beat. However, the room we were in left a lot to be desired; it was dark and had a musty smell. The dining experience was also disappointing, as the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the staff was friendly and tried their best to make our stay enjoyable, it wasn’t enough to overcome the negatives we encountered.
This hotel offers a unique experience as it's situated right next to a scenic airstrip, which is a delight to watch. The rustic wooden design of the rooms gave off a cozy log cabin vibe, and they were very comfortable too. While the food was wonderful and made with local produce, it would be great if the staff could show a bit more warmth. Overall, it's a great place to unwind with fantastic views and tasty meals despite some minor service quirks.
